DAY 1: HANOI – BA BE JUNGLE TREKKING

At 07:30 Our representative will pick you up at your hotel’s lobby and depart 3.5-hour drive to Ba Be.

On arrival, check-in Ba Be eco-lodge or homestay. After first cozy lunch at local house, in this afternoon, we have various choices and will choose one of them:

• Trekking through ethnic villages and take closer to the local community

• Biking through the trails nearby the lake and through ethnic villages with some stops at the local house for chatting

• Kayaking on Ba Be lake and discover the cave under the water

In late afternoon, take a shower before enjoy cozy dinner with the local family, learn how to cook the traditional meals and how is the eating habits of the local. Overnight at Ba Be eco-lodge or local house (advise when you make booking).

 

DAY 2: BA BE JUNGLE TREKKING

Today, full day trekking through jungle and visiting Hua Ma cave.

Overnight at local homestay.

 

DAY 3: BA BE – DRIVE TO BAO LAC

Breakfast at homestay. Enjoy gentle boat ride along Nang River to learn about flora & fauna. Next is to heading to Bao Lac and will drop-in ethnic village of Tay hill tribe on the way.

In Bao Lac, we will stay at very basic hotel as there is no better choice in this remote area.

 

DAY 4: BAO LAC – MEO VAC

Today, we will take nearly 3-hour drive to Meo Vac. On the way, both of side is rocky plateau with evergreen vegetation. En-route, our guide will make some stops for free your leg or take breath-taking pictures.

On arrival, check-in the boutique homestay Auberge de Meo Vac which seems to be “Gem in remote area”

 

DAY 5: MEO VAC – DONG VAN – TREK MA PI LENG PASS

Start your best memorable day of this journey by driving to Ma Pi Leng Pass (35 km distance). When getting there, firstly, catch the stunning landscapes then “touching” the nature by amazing trek to the peak of Ma Pi Leng pass. This trek route is around 10 km in Dong Van plateau.

After lunch, visiting Thien Huong village of Tay hill tribe before back to Meo Va for second night at Auberge de Meo Vac

 

DAY 6: DRIVE TO HA GIANG – VISIT H’MONG KING’S PALACE

Travel to Ha Giang. En-route visit of Tam Son, King of H'mong's Palace, local market (if any). Then moving to Nam Dam and check-in homestay. Overnight at Nam Dam Homestay.

 

DAY 7: HA GIANG – VISIT LOCAL MARKET – HANOI

Visit Ha Giang local market before getting back to Hanoi at late afternoon.
