PROGRAM

 

DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVE – WELCOME DINNER WITH RICKSHAW TOUR (D)

Upon arrival, airport pick-up transfer. to your hotel in the heart of city center.

Free at your leisure time for walking around to explore this capital on your own way or jet lag recovery. 

At 18:00 Our guide meet you at your hotel's lobby and drive to the local nice restaurant where having dinner of Vietnamese delicious cuisines. The last activity today is to enjoy One-hour Rickshaw tour before return to the hotel for relaxing. Overnight in Hanoi

 

DAY 2: HANOI – MAI CHAU (B/L)

Take approximately 4-hour to get there. On arrival, check-in and enjoy lunch at eco-lodge with special menu for your taste.

After short break, start trekking the nearby villages of Thai ethnic minorities and surrounding area or biking around the valley, through the green villages and enjoy peaceful countryside scenery with green rice fields (on seasonal).

Later on, return to lodge to fresh your body with a shower. Then treat yourself with amazing dinner and enjoy watching traditional music performance at 20:30. Overnight in Mai Chau.

 

DAY 3: MAI CHAU – NINH BINH (B/L)

Take approximately 3.5-hour drive from Mai Chau to Ninh Binh. On arrival, have delicious and adequate lunch to prepare for active cycling ride through the rural area before visiting Thai Vi temple. 

Following lunch, short drive to Thung Nang to "taste" picturesque sampan boat trip in lesstouristic area. En-route, the scenery changes from rustic rural life to the karst limestones covered with the green color of trees. Overnight in hotel in Ninh Binh

 

DAY 4: NINH BINH – HALONG (B/L/D)

At 07:45 - 08:15, heading out to Ha Long Bay which is declared as UNESCO World Natural Heritage. 
In Ha Long, you will sail your cruise for an overnight stay amongst nearly 2,000 limestone island emerging in bay and pass many rock formations with various shapes and sizes. Then sample a delicious seafood lunch while sightseeing the panorama view of the bay.
In the afternoon, you will visit the fishing farm, a refreshing swim and kayaking to explore other caves/lagoons. At 19:00, enjoy a spectacular seafood dinner or BBQ dinner (depends on the cruise brand name you choose). Overnight on board.

 

DAY 5: HALONG BAY – HANOI – FLY TO DA NANG (B/Brunch/D)

Start the day with calming Tai Chi, often accompanied by an amazing sunrise and the quiet breath-taking beauty of the bay’s landscape. The cruise passes beautiful spots and you will sail further before having buffet brunch on board. Back at the dock, where you will be met and transferred to Hanoi by shuttle bus. Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 6: DA NANG - HUE CITY TOUR – DA NANG (B/L)

Buffet breakfast at hotel. Our guide will meet you up at your hotel, drive to Hue city and kick off your day by visiting the Khai Dinh Tomb, famous for its magnificent concrete structure and that is the perfect  fusion of Eastern art elements with Western designs. Later on, drive back to the city center for lunch at a local restaurant. 
In the afternoon, after short break, heading to visit Citadel by short drive, founded by Nguyen Dynasty from 1805 to 1945. It was declared as UNESCO cultural heritage site because of its ancient Capital which attract many tourist attention. Afterward, your private car takes you to Thien Mu pagoda, one of the oldest religious relics with its famous seven-story eight-sided tower. Then walking and shopping in Dong Ba local market (if time permits) before being transferred back to hotel for relaxing.

DAY 7: DA NANG – VISIT HOIAN ANCIENT TOWN – DA NANG (B/L)

In the center, Hoian - Danang - Hue creates the mystical heritage lines of Vietnam which linking the UNESCO Cultural Heritage sites of Hue Forbidden Citadel, Hoian ancient town with the marvelous Danang beach city.
At 08:00, our representative will meet you up at the hotel's lobby then heading to Hoian ancient town for walking around charming town which are outlined with Chinese traders' homes and wooden houses renovated and reused as restaurants, coffee stores and outlets for local artists, artisan and outfitters. Explore the iconic symbol of the famous trading port in the past, they are the extraordinary 16th century Japanese Bridge and Unique unification of Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese architecture is exhibited in this peaceful town.

Having lunch in boutique local restaurant, then drop-in An Bang beach for short swimming. If time permits, we will enjoy last minute shopping around for thousands of silk, fashionable outlet and accessories. Overnight in Da Nang.

 

DAY 8 & 9: DA NANG FREE ON BEACH (B)

Treat yourself with 02 free day on the beach, enjoy seafood or some typical delicious street food in this charming city or just relaxing in your hotel. Overnight in Da Nang.

Day 10: DANANG – SAIGON – DINNER ON CRUISE (D)

Fly to Saigon. Upon arrival, pick-up and transfer to hotel for check-in.

At 18:00, enjoy the most romantic dinner while your cruise is sailing on Saigon poetic river. Around 21:00, enjoy free-hassle drop-off transfer at your hotel. Overnight in Saigon.

Optional: available private cano for this activity, just two of you in private romantic space.

 

DAY 11: SAIGON CITY TOUR – CU CHI UNDERGROUND TUNNEL (B/L)

At 08:30, Get picked up by guide at your hotel's lobby and start short drive to visit some iconic symbol of Ho Chi Minh city - historical relics during the war: Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office. Followed by exploring the Reunification Palace, and the noteworthy site of the War Remnants Museum.
After lunch, proceeding to Cu Chi which is located 70km from HCMC. Cu Chi captures almost tourist attention because of its network of over 200km of tunnels. During the French war, this underground connecting tunnel system became a legendary in Vietnam country's victory. 
In the past, the tunnels were functioning underground cities including numerous trap doors, especially living areas, food storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchens. Nowadays, it is quite hard to imagine the destruction, damage & defoliation over this whole area, caused by bombing and mines. There is plenty of evidence of the savage battle that occured here during the 1960s when Cu Chi was called "Free Target Zone". 
Firstly, watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed before spending time to get deep exploration by going through the tunnels. Afterwards, enjoy tea, cassava (guerrilla’s food during the war) before back to hotel for relaxing.

 

DAY 12: SAIGON – MEKONG DELTA TOUR – CAN THO (B/L)

Start around 2 hour drive to the outskirt of Ho Chi Minh city, leave the bustling city behind, enjoy the scenic countryside in the rural area. On arrival in My Tho, first stop is to visit Vinh Trang pagoda to get first impression about this area's religion. Next stop is at the pier to take a leisurely boat ride along the river. En-route, sightseeing the stilt houses, orchards and fishing villages along the river bank. 
After having lunch in local restaurant, start cruising on a  sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along natural canals or practise to paddle the sampan by yourself. Then enjoying seasonal fruit & honey tea while watching Southern Vietnamese folk music which is performed by the locals. Later on, call-in a small family-run factory which specialize on producing the delicious coconut candies. Come to taste candies & observe the traditional procession to make it and enjoy the local life of Mekong delta as you ramble through the orchads and village. After that, short walk to the venue to get on the bus and procceeding to Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho.

 

DAY 13: CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET – SAIGON (B/L)

In this morning, wake-up early to enjoy the busiest atmosphere of the floating local market. Take a gentle boat trip to explore the picturesque scenery of the Lower Mekong river (also called Bassac River), then reaching to visit Cai Rang floating market (& Phong Dien is optional), which are the most dynamic in the whole religion. Then hanging around the village, meeting the friendly locals and learn how to cross a "Monkey bridge" which is built by only one stem of bamboo. Having lunch at local restaurant before heading back to HCM city.

 

DAY 14: SAIGON DEPARTURE ( B )

Breakfast at hotel, free for last minute shopping before heading to the airport for flight to the next destination. It is time to bid farewell to Vietnam.
