DETAILED PROGRAM

 

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City arrival (None meal)

Flying out Spain, arrive at the airport and our local expert will welcome you at the gate of the airport.

After clearing greeting custom, you will be transferred to the city center for hotel check-in. The rest of today, you are free to explore some iconic symbols of Ho Chi Minh City – the largest city in Vietnam which share some commons with one typical western city. Overnight in Saigon

 

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City free (Breakfast)

Today you are free at wandering around or rent a motorbike/bike to discover the surrounding area and local daily life. Overnight in Saigon

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta Scenic boat trip – Can Tho (Breakfast/Lunch)

Start around 2 hour drive to the outskirt of Ho Chi Minh city, leave the bustling city behind, enjoy the scenic countryside in the rural area. On arrival in My Tho, first stop is to visit Vinh Trang pagoda to get first impression about this area's religion. Next stop is at the pier to take a leisurely boat ride along the river. En-route, sightseeing the stilt houses, orchards and fishing villages along the river bank.

After having lunch in local restaurant, start cruising on a sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along natural canals or practice to paddle the sampan by yourself. Then enjoying seasonal fruit & honey tea while watching Southern Vietnamese folk music which is performed by the locals. Later on, call-in a small family-run factory which specialize on producing the delicious coconut candies. Come to taste candies & observe the traditional procession to make it and enjoy the local life of Mekong delta as you ramble through the orchids and village. After that, short walk to the venue to get on the bus and proceeding to Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho

 

Day 4: Cai Rang floating market - Chau Doc - Tra Su Sanctuary (Breakfast/Lunch)

Today, let’s wake-up early to unveil the charming beauty of Cai Rang floating market – the best one in Vietnam. Otherwise, you can choose Phong Dien floating market as a perfect alternative.

By sitting on the boat, immerse yourself in this peaceful atmosphere you will find out how is great when the life goes slow down.

On the boat’s route, visiting the villages with lovely orchards, meeting the smiling locals and learning how to cross a Monkey Bridge that is sometimes difficult for the local also.

Our group will enjoy lunch before approaching to Chau Doc. On the way to Chau Doc, we will stop in Tra Su Mangrove forest.

Then return to Chau Doc for hotel check-in.

 

Day 5: Chau Doc – Phnom Penh by speedboat (Breakfast, Dinner)

At 07:00 Depart to the port to embark the speedboat to Phnom Penh.  

At 13:00, arrive in Phnom Penh pier that is located in the heart of Phnom Penh downtown. There are some nearby riverside restaurants that are worthy for us to enjoy our lunch there (on your own arrangement).

Then transferring to the hotel for check-in.

In the afternoon, we start touring around the city and visiting some of its iconic symbols.

 

Day 6: Phnom Penh full day city tour (B/L/-)           

In reality, Tuol Sleng is always included on Phnom Penh sightseeing tour. Why? As it is very special and a typical example of Pol Pot army’s violence during the war. Visiting there to study about the true face of this city.

Toul Sleng is the big building before used as the local school but the Pol Pot used it as the prison. Please be aware that you may get the sad feeling when enter this prison, some tourists they cried out when seeing the pictures of the political prisoner with their children and seeing how they build-up the prison inside the school is really terrible. You should consider to bring your children inside.

After that, visiting Russian Market which selling cheap clothing and other daily life stuffs.  If time permits, enjoy Sunset Cruise on the Tonle Sap lake and Mekong Rivers which running through 5 Asian countries such as: China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Burma.

 

Day 7: Phnom Penh – Siem Reap by Private car (B/-/-)            

From Phnom Penh to Siem Reap, there are some convenient ways of travelling. We can take domestic flight (around US$89 per person), or Private car transfer or Shuttle bus (around $20 per person) or by 6-hour boat journey on Mekong river.

After breakfast, transfer to Siem Reap by Private car (6-hour drive). On the way, we will stop to visit one special market that just sells all kinds of insects. Insect is also one of specialties of this country. On arrival, check-in hotel.

At 18:00 We drive to the local restaurant where we can taste Cambodia cuisines while watching its famous traditional dance – Apsara dance show.

 

Day 8: Angkor Wat complex sightseeing (B/L/-)                                      

After breakfast, spend all day on visiting Angkor Wat – the forgotten ancient city. This heritage site is located on a huge and remote area. From the city center, we can take private car or Tuk Tuk to get there. If traveling in April, the weather is hottest so please bring enough water with you during our walking inside this area. Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap

 

Day 9: Angkor Wat complex sightseeing (B/L/-)

Today, we continue revealing the rest of Angkor Wat complex.

 

Day 10: Siem Reap departure (B/-/-)

Breakfast at hotel. Free in the morning till transfer to Siem Reap International airport for flight to the next destination. End of our services!
