PROGRAM

 

DAY 1: HANOI – HOMESTAY – BIKE TO CO LOA ANCIENT CITADEL

Kick off our dynamic today with a short 45-minute drive to the suburb of Hanoi to escape from the bustling citizen atmosphere.

At 08:30 Drive to Han village where is famous for the vast fields of the rice and green vegetables.

At 09:15 We arrive and drop-in the local house where we will say hello to the local family. By impacting to the local, we learn how to welcome the guests in Vietnamese style then drink strong green tea while eating the peanut candy which makes green tea become more flavor.

At 09:30 Enjoy gentle scenic 12-km biking route through the village and drop-in the rice field or vegetable/orchard gardens. On the way, stop at the local temple for visiting and practice farm works on the fields and visiting Co Loa – ancient citadel of Hanoi in 10th century. Having lunch at the local restaurant.

After that, cycling back to the local house for our first cozy dinner with the host family members, figure out how the local live, their colorful cultural customs.

DAY 2: TAICHI PRACTICE – FARMWORKS – RETURN HANOI

Wake-up in the morning for Taichi practice under guidance of our local host.

After that, have breakfast before starting our cooking experience with the local chef.

At 08:30 Visiting the outdoor local market, learn how to bargain and choose the raw ingredients.

At 10:00 Return to the local house to learn how to cook Vietnamese food. Firstly, our local chef does cooking demonstration then you do it yourself. What we cooked will be what we have for our special lunch.

At 13:00, farewell bid before return to Hanoi around 15:00.
