PROGRAM

 

Day 1: Siem Reap Arrival (D)

Landing off at Siem Reap airport which is designed with the architecture of Pagoda. Pick up from the airport and transfer to the city center for hotel check in.

After having a shower to refresh yourself, we are excited to enjoy Welcome dinner at local restaurant with Apsara Dance show which will be one of best highlight during your journey. Overnight in Siem Reap

 

Day 2: Siem Reap Sightseeing (B/L)

Breakfast at hotel. Kickoff your day with visiting Angkor Thom and Angkor Wat which is protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Right after the Hollywod film of "Tom Raider" in 2001 with Angelina Jolie famous actress, Cambodia becomes an emerging worldwide tourist site. 

Firstly, visit Angkor Thom, the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, built from the late 12th century to the early 13th century and consists of 54 towers with different sculpture.

Subsequently, our group comes by the Royal Enclosure, the Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.

Next is to stop-in Ta Prohm which is surrounded by the evergreen jungle. Visit Angkor Wat, the largest temple in world and covers a huge area of 199 hectares and surrounded by an exterior wall measuring 1300 meters x 1500 meters. Stay another night in Siem Reap

 

Day 3: Siem Reap Sightseeing (B/L)

Sample buffet breakfast at your hotel.

Next to start to drive through the country side towards Kbal Spean, “River of a Thousand Lingas”.

On arrival, enjoy gentle walk through the forest (45 minutes) to reach to the symbol of the Hindu god Siva. It was believed that the linga fertilized the water that irrigated the rice fields underneath.

On the way back to Siem Reap, stop-in the famous temple of Bantey Srey “the Citadel of Women”. This small pink sandstone temple (late 10th century) is considered to be the valuable thing of Khmer art because of its spectacular carvings. This carvings are the oldest and most sophisticated of all the temples in Cambodia as well as the most well protected carvings.

Later on, proceeding to Kulen national park with the complex of Kulen mountain range, waterfall, spectacular jungle. During wet season, the fall has plenty of water in this place and is amazing at all levels. It bring the fresh air and peaceful nature to the tourists. Subsequently, followed by a visit to the restored Bantey Samre temple (mid 12th century). It is very suitable for someone finds out adventure or eco-tours.

Then, also visit Preah Khan and Neak Pean temples before return to the hotel for relaxing. Overnight in Siem Reap.

 

Day 4: Siem Reap – Battambang (B/L) Private boat

After breakfast, transfer to the pier boat for your journey to Battambang. The best time to do it from October to February next year as from May to September, the water level is very low. This boat trip is approximately 8-10 hours, starting at 7:00 am and ending at late afternoon. Have lunch box.

Along boat trip, we will have some interesting stops to visit Ek Phnom Temple, small villages and watching transquil rural area. Next to visit a local market where Prahoc, the Cambodian fish paste is made. Then drop-in the village which many local people steam sticky-rice inside bamboo which is very delicious and unique for the tourists. We will end today with the funny sliding bamboo train - one of most interesting experience you shouldn't miss before check-in hotel. Relaxing in your comfort room in Battambang.

 

Day 5: Battambang  - Phnom Penh (B/L)

After breakfast, transfer overland to Phnom Penh. On half way, come by the Silversmith village, witness the pottery manufactories in Kompong Chhnang and visit also a fish local market then continue reaching to Phnom Penh capital.

In the afternoon, drop-in the Silver Pagoda is located within the grounds of the Royal Palace. People said it is made up of over 5 thousands of silver tiles. Moreover, the government can found inside a solid gold Buddha weighing 90 kilograms as well as baccarat crystal Buddha.

Later on, we move to visit Wat Phnom Temple, Phnom Penh's namesake, from where you can enjoy views over the tree-lined boulevard of Phnom Penh. Afterward, watching the sunset before having welcome dinner with special menu of Yin Yang food. Overnight in Phnom Penh

 

Day 6: Phnom Penh (B/L)

Breakfast at hotel. Today we will have full day to get deep exploration about "panorama view" of Cambodia history during the war when is the crisis of inhumanity.

Visit Tuol Sleng Museum (S-21 prison). This former school was used as a prison by Pol Pot’s security forces. Witness some pictures to imagine the way they tortured the prisoner is too terrible. The scareness on their faces of the poor prisoners in the cells was hard to deal with.
Then you can see the old man who is the last remaining prisoner who made this event alive and prove his magic survival. 

Next is to visit the “Killing Fields” of Choeng Ek (15 km south of Phnom Penh).

The last stop today is Russian Market (Toul Tumpong Market) which famous for selling cheap clothing and you can find out everything here at low cost. Overnight in Phnom Penh

 

Day 7: Phnom Penh – Sihanoukvill  - Koh Rong  (B) 

After breakfast, our driver only will transfer you to Sihanoukvill to catch the boat to Koh Rong island with stunning unspoiled island. Overnight on the island  

 

Day 8: Koh Rong (B)

Free and relax on the Island

 

Day 9: Koh Rong  - Sihanoukvill (B)

Breakfast at the resort, free on the beach before being transferred to Sihanoukvill. On arrival, you will  be picked up and transfer to the hotel check in.

Later today, you will be transferred to the Ream National Park which is well known for the mangrove forest and the eco-system before return to the hotel. Relaxing in hotel in in Sihanoukvill.

 

Day 10: Sihanoukvill – Phnom Penh airport (B) Transfer (guide/car)

After breakfast, free time for last minute shopping before take private transfer back to Phnom penh airport for departure. Leaving this lovely country with a bag of full memories. 

Note: Climate
Cambodia is hot and humid whole year and the hotest month is April. 

The best time to visit this lovely country is from October to February.
