PROGRAM

DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY – BINH TIEN FARMSTAY (L/D)

At 08:00, Far East Tour representative will pick you up at the hotel’s lobby and you’ll then be transferred to the cycling venue (Le Minh Xuan commune).

Jump on your bike and kick off your day with the biking route of 6 km on less-tourist roads and passing by the peaceful rural area, scenic and various scenery from small canals to the river. En-route, you have some stops at the sugarcane field, green paddy fields, et cetera.

Later on, drop-in a family-run incense making workshop and explore all steps to complete a handmade product before tasting some tropical fresh fruits and free your leg at a local pagoda on route.

After that, enjoying a motorboat ride through a canal. By doing this boat trip, you have a chance to sightseeing a wide lotus field, chill out yourself with fresh coconut water picked by the boat rider. Actually, lotus is iconic flower of Vietnam country which is very useful in the local daily life. We can use its flower, seeds and even roots which we can make delicious salad. Return to the pier, we proceed to Farmstay after the interesting stop at a local primary school (observing from outside as the kids are in the class). At 11:30 noon time, check-in Farmstay. After clearing greeting custom, you’ll then be offered a homemade herbal drink before taking shower and enjoy lunch.

During your stay, there are tons of opportunities to get closer to the rural life and farm works such as: watching ducks, sightseeing the well-maintained garden with diverse types of tropical fresh fruits, vegetables and flowers. In this afternoon, start cycling around the peaceful village before back to the farm, observing the host while cooking special Vietnamese cuisines for your dinner. If you prefer, you can practise and help host to prepare dinner. The big bonus for this trip is to enjoy home hosted lunch with cozy atmosphere you have never had before. DAY 2: BINH TIEN FARMSTAY – MEKONG BOAT TRIP - CAN THO (B)

You are advised to wake up early for breathing fresh air to start your full energy day.

Say “hi” with new day by helping your hostess with her daily farm works such as: gardening, feeding the duck, pouring water on the orchids, et cetera. She will unfold her family gardening techniques.

Next up to have breakfast and sip a cup of Vietnamese coffee flavour. Later on, free for either go fishing, collecting corn, grapefruit, lotus seed or harvesting the rice (seasonal activities). Around 9:30, bid farewell to the host and proceed to get closer to Mekong Delta which offering the abundance of paddies fields, coconut trees and rivers and peaceful scenery in rural area. Jump on the boat trip and paddle through the thick network of minor canals (boat rider will paddle). After that, heading to Can Tho for hotel check-in. Overnight in hotel.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• Rooms at hotels are available only from 1400 on arrival day till 1200 on departure date. A supplement will be added if early check-in or late check-out is desired.

• About homestay, kindly notice that almost homestays are clean and in good conditions in big cities such as: Hanoi, Hoian and Ho Chi Minh city. However, in some remote area or in mountainous area, almost homestays belongs to the ethnic or hill tribe people, they are is very basic and we will share the same huge space with other groups. Each groups will be separated by the curtains, each person will be provided one mosquito net, pillow, blanket and mat.

• Please bring with you some necessary stuffs on tour such as: anti-insect repellents, anti-sun cream, sung-glasses, good shoes.
