PROGRAM

 

Day 1: Dong Hoi - Chay Lap homestay (L/D)

08h30: Far East Tour team pick you up from Dong Hoi train station, then proceeding to Phong Nha – Ke Bang. (Take the lunch at a local restaurant).

After arriving at Chay Lap Valley and checking-in the homestay, you can saunter around to explore this place. Experience such private countryside with the green rice-fields, and giant mountains covering around.

Join in preparing dinner with the host before your cozy meal. When the dark falls down, the night sky of Chay Lap is glistening, marvelous with full of stars. Overnight at the homestay in Chay Lap.

 

Day 2: Chap Lap - Phong Nha Ke Bang National park – Dong Hoi (B/L/D)

Enjoy the breakfast at homestay, then exploring Chay River and Dark Cave. This is one of the most expected trekking route in Phong Nha – Ke Bang. Firstly, you go kayaking on Chay River, and contemplate its charming view with river, mountains, and forest. After 5km streaming on the river, we arrive in the Dark Cave with the first seeing is two lines of stalactites in the entrance. When entering the cave, each passenger is provided a flashlight to admire the mystery of Dark Cave. You will be seen lots of fossil of insects and molluscs here. Free swimming. Enjoy a picnic lunch among the forest of National Park. After that, back to homestay, check-out and return to Dong Hoi or take 5-hour drive to Hue city with an extra fee will be added on for this service)

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• Rooms at hotels are available only from 1400 on arrival day till 1200 on departure date. A supplement will be added if early check-in or late check-out is desired.

• About homestay, kindly notice that almost homestays are clean and in good conditions in big cities such as: Hanoi, Hoian and Ho Chi Minh city. However, in some remote area or in mountainous area, almost homestays belongs to the ethnic or hill tribe people, they are is very basic and we will share the same huge space with other groups. Each groups will be separated by the curtains, each person will be provided one mosquito net, pillow, blanket and mat.

• Please bring with you some necessary stuffs on tour such as: anti-insect repellents, anti-sun cream, sung-glasses, good shoes.
