OVERVIEW

​

Vietnam is the home of many national parks which offering the diversity flora and fauna system. One of them is Cuc Phuong national park with the location of 158km within 3-hour drive on bus (in the South East of Hanoi capital).

Normally, the travelers should spend 1-3 day tour to get deep exploration of this park. So what is the list of must-do-things there? It has to offer the amazing various trekking routes from Jungle trekking to the long trek throughout several ethnic villages for Homestay option. On the route, there are many opportunities of taking breath-taking photos as well as watching the existence of the wild animals (colorful butterflies, walking-sticks, monkeys, turtle...).

Not only trekking but also visiting and studying the wildlife conservation centers of Primate Center, Turtle Center and Pangollins Center. By doing this, we (especially the children) can well-understand about the wildlife and how to protect our planet by protecting the wild animals.

 

DETAILED ITINERARY

 

DAY 1: HANOI - DRIVE TO CUC PHUONG PARK -  TREKKING – VISIT CAVE – VISIT PANGOLLIN CENTER (Lunch and Dinner at homestay)

At 08:00 in the moring, we get on the bus and depart to Cuc Phuong Park. On arrival, around 11:30, we will visit Primate Center and experience how to feed the wild animals as well as how to the staffs look after them. Then driving to the center area for having lunch with Vietname local cuisines.

In the afternoon, we kick off our trekking journey to Tro Chi – the famous one-thousand-year-old tree which need over 10 adults to create a circle around it. On the way back to the park entrance (sleeping area), we will stop to climb up to the cave which should be lighten when getting inside.

At 17:30 Visiting Pangollins Conservation Center. Pangollins is hunted due to its scales which is believed to cure the cancers. We should pay much attention on their special habbit: Sleeping on day and Wakenning at night.

After that, back to the hotel for freshing showever.

At 19:00 Having dinner at the local restaurant inside the park.

At night, we enjoy watching Traditional Dancing Performance. Overnight at homestay or hotel

 

DAY 2: CYCLING TO VISIT CAVE- DRIVE TO HANOI (Breakfast, Lunch on boat)

Having breakfast with noodle soup or bread with chees and eggs.

At 09:00 Cycling to the lake for an hour to discover the surrounding area

At 10:00 Enjoy kayaking to sightsee the beautiful lake

At 11:00 Visiting Turtle Center

At 11:30 Having lunch at the lakeside restaurant

At 13:00 Getting on the bus and return to Hanoi around 16:30
