OVERVIEW

 

Halong Bay is very famous with worldwide tourist but not many people know about Cat Ba Eco Tour island which offering both the amazing tranquil bay and the real impact to the local community. By doing this, you can be a real local in the most authentic way of travelling. It is not only admiring the majestic natural landscape but also admiring the colorful distinCtive local culture you’d never known in the past.

 

DAY 1: HANOI - DRIVE TO CAT BA ISLAND - JUNGLE TREK THROUGH CAT BA NATIONAL PARK (Lunch and Dinner at homestay)

Please be ready at your hotel’s lobby at 07:30, Our shuttle bus will pick you up at your hotel (the hotel should be inside Hanoi Old Quarter, further area may be added extra fee) within 07:30 – 08:00.

At 12:00 noon time, we arrive, check-in homestay and enjoy the most cozy lunch with the host family and sample the lovely Vietnamese cuisine cooked by the local host. 

After short break, at 14:00, enjoy half day jungle trekking through the park, then climb up on Ngu Lam peak where take panoramic view from the top. When on top, take photos with our local guide who look like monkey and super humourous.

On the way, we have 1 stop to take a look at Monkey Conservation Center (the park staff will save the injured monkeys and protect them in this center, when becoming better, they will be released to their natural home).

At 17:00 Get on the bus and transfer to the beaches where available blue beach and white sand for our group to swim and relax. Then back to our homestay for taking shower.

At 18:00 Enjoy cooking demonstration under our host’s guidance, we will learn how to do Mixed vegetable salad and Fresh/Fried spring roll in Vietnamese style. Then enjoy what we cooked by ourselves which should be lovely memory.

Then enjoying the fantastic dinner with the host family and explore their local culture as well as the local daily life. At night, it is available to sing karaoke together at the homestay as one of our free entertainmant. Overnight in homestay.

 

DAY 2: PRIVATE FISHING CLASS EXPERIENCE – KAYAKING - DRIVE TO HANOI (Breakfast, Lunch on boat)

At 08:00 Start your half day boat trip through the islands and islets on Lan Ha Bay (less-touristic) while admiring the landscaped declared as the world hertiage site. This boat trip is for our group only.

On cruising route, we have a chance to witness the local floating villages and discover how to survive here.

Next stop, we will do kayaking to explore Lan Ha bay and learn about floating life which seems to be totally different from your home town.

After that, we drop-in Monkey island where we climb up on the peak of mountain and catch the unique photo from the high position. Or just relaxing and swimming on the beach on this island.

At 11:30 Having lunch on the boat or lunch at the local restaurant (your choice) before we disembark the boat, get on the shuttle bus at 13:30 and return to Hanoi around 6pm.
